We have created this experience to accommodate hunters of all ages, shape, size and ability. By utilizing equipment, such as Argos, we can accommodate many hunters in varied stages of life and physical capability. Whether it’s a multi-generational hunt with grand-kids or a hunter with limited physical ability, we will do all we can to help you create a hunt of a lifetime. Experience Overview

Our fall moose hunts will start September 1st. These hunts will consist of 3 10 day hunts. We will be setting up our moose camp in the hills on the back side of the Golsovia river. We fly our hunters in from Saint Michael or Unalakleet to our camp and back out when hunt is complete. Our main spike camp will be large arctic oven tents with wood stoves and propane cook stove. Our smaller spike camps will be our usual arctic oven tents. We will split up and go to our different camp sites with the use of our Argos. The first 10 day hunt of September is a perfect time for someone who wishes to harvest a grizzly bear as well. By this time most of the salmon are spawning up into the smaller creeks that feed the river, and the bears are up high feeding on fish and berries. In the early season the moose are just starting to walk around working there rub lines and making scrapes. We spend a lot of time sitting up high glassing to spot a good bull, and then work out an approach to go after him. Its a good time to spot some really big mature bulls that are not penned up with cows and youre the first hunters out in the country.
