Experience Overview

Our second trip will take place from late January to March and offer seven full days of trapping and predator hunting in Alaskas wilderness. With longer daylight in February, well have more time to search for wolves and wolverines. The focus of these 7-day adventure trips is covering ground looking for predators and fresh tracks on nice days. And on stormy or bad weather days we can focus on running traps down in the river. Clients will drive their own snowmobiles across Norton Sound, arctic tundra, spruce-covered river valleys, and rivers chalked with alder and willow. They can stay in our Nice warm arctic oven tents or Klikitarik cabin or our trapping cabin back on the Golsovia River based on availability. With a chance to see northern lights if it is cold enough outside at night, they would cherish each memory they make here traveling hundreds of miles via snowmobile through Alaskas winter landscape. Besides the thrill of trapping and hunting, our tours offer a unique opportunity for wildlife observation. Besides wolves and wolverines, clients may also catch a glimpse of caribou, moose, lynx, and other wildlife that thrive in Alaskas wilderness.
